KORUS Bergen is one of seven regional competence centres for substance use in Norway, part of Haukeland University Hospital. Twice a year they publish Føre Var, a survey of drug trends in Bergen that has run since 2002, plus a steady stream of other reports. The risk is a PDF that gets filed and never read. I've designed the reports since 2019. Sixty pages of overdose figures, availability scales and informant panels. Full-bleed gradient dividers give the eye somewhere to rest between the data. Issue to issue the book stays recognisably itself, which is the point: readers who come back twice a year already know their way around.
